Seeing The Nutcracker

Hello, Loves!

Don’t you just love this time of the year?! The twinkle lights, the music, the fun winter accessories, shopping – and going out to see favorite plays!

This year the Hubs and I went to go see the Nutcracker and it was beautiful!

It was the first time that my husband had seen the Nutcracker ballet live, and I think he rather enjoyed it! The scenery, costumes, and music were superb as always and I loved having an occasion to really dress up and get fancy for. 🙂

We arrived at the beautiful Carolina Theater at 3:00pm last Sunday – let me just say that the Carolina Theater is beautiful!

I hate to say that, unfortunately, I didn’t get a  great photograph of my outfit but I wore a beautiful Ralph Lauren black and white striped tea length gown, a classic camel colored trench coat, teal Vera Bradley handbag, and the cutest suede scalloped turquoise flats by Ashley Brooke!

My hair was simply just down with a few waves in it, and I kept my makeup simple as well because I try my best to live by the rule “less is more”.

After the ballet, we went to The Cheesecake Factory for a wonderful and romantic dinner!

It was the Hubbys first time ever going there, he loved it!

Beings is was at dinner time and very busy, we waited about forty five minutes to eat but it was so very worth it!

The restaurant was all decked out with beautiful poinsettias and boughs and Christmas lights.

I have to post this because our appetizer was amazing! They were fried macaroni balls and wonderfully delicious.

All in all, it was a wonderful day and I’m so glad to have shared it with my wonderful man!

Have you seen any plays or shows this Christmas season, my friends?
